    We went there for my birthday with my family. The two waitresses were very nice, friendly to my kids and the service was amazing. They gave us a free salmon tempura appetizer and free dessert to celebrate. There were other two families who are celebrating the birthdays and they were treated nice too. The sushi we ordered were very tasty and the bento box was more than enough for one person. For the service and quality of the food, we are definitely going back to Waraii again.

    Best sushi spot in all of San Diego County, literally everything on the menu is fantastic! On occasion my friend and I will use a random number generator to pick our order, because you literally cannot go wrong! Everyone I've introduced to this spot has fallen in love, just like I did

    Randomly selected Waraii Sushi for small dinner party in my home and had a bunch of their menu delivered. Everything was fantastic, especially the sashimi Poke bowl. So pleased, we will now order from them again without going through so many menus of other restaurants. Highly recommend!

    I got two vegetable rolls and it came out to $19. I wouldn’t have given such low stars if the price matched the product. The presentation was nice, but it was just their spring mix and cucumber wrapped in the peel of the cucumber with a slice of avo on top of each piece that was layed flat (6 pieces in each roll). I was expecting at least rice in it to hold it all together but without it each piece would just fall apart.

    The food was great, but service was subpar. Only one server midday on a Saturday, who failed to check up on our table even once during the meal
